MMP, PE-RT & PE-Xc Pipes For Underfloor Heating/Cooling

Metal composite pipe MMP
HAKAflex PE-RT I/AI/PE-RT I
The extremely flexible HAKAflex metal composite pipe was specially developed for heating installers. The innovative interaction of the temperature-resistant polyethylene and an aluminium layer makes the pipe very flexible and thus extremely durable and easy to lay.

Application areas
-
Surface heating
-
Cooling system
-
Radiator connection
Advantages
-
No oxygen diffusion thanks to butt-welded aluminium layer
-
Low thermal linear expansion
-
Resistant to numerous chemicals
-
High flexibility and yet dimensionally stable laying
-
No incrustation thanks to the smooth inner pipe surface
For information about wholesale and retail orders and prices, please contact us or visit our warehouse.

Pre-Insulated Metal Composite Pipe
HAKAthen PE-RT/AL/PE-RT &
PE-Xc/AL/PE-Xc

Application areas
-
heat and cold conducting pipes in sanitary and heating engineering
-
process heat and cold in industrial and plant engineering
-
ventilation and air conditioning
Thanks to pre-insulated pipes, energy loss for heat- and cold-carrying piping is reduced by up to 100%, ensuring sustainable energy savings. This is made possible by the innovative composition of the insulating foam in combination with the homogeneous outer layer, which is offered in white, red and blue.

Advantages
-
reduction of energy losses in heat- and cold-carrying pipes by up to 100%
-
Polyethylene flexible foam free from HCFCs
-
subsequent insulation of the already installed pipes is no longer necessary
-
no condensation
-
sound decoupling properties
-
simple and economical installation

How They Work
A ceiling / wall heating system is a surface heating system and utilises the entire surface to transmit heat or cooling. In contrast to radiators, there is hardly any convection due to the low surface temperature. The radiant heat spreads at right angles to the surface, i.e. from top to bottom in the case of ceiling heating. When the radiant heat comes into contact with furnishings, the f loor or a human body, it is converted into heat.
